Crafting a brand for Fitzrovia’s finest

CHALLENGE
This boutique hotel and its award-winning bar and restaurant in Fitzrovia needed a brand balancing indulgence and heritage. With craftsmanship at its core, the identity had to echo the quality materials and refined design of the space. Whether staying the night or dropping in for food and drink, guests come for comfort and elegance in a lively urban setting.
OUTCOME
The Berners & Wells name nods to local street names and timeless craftsmanship. An arch shape is used throughout the brand, drawing from the building’s grand windows. This is seen within the typographic logo and arch holding device. A rich green mirrors the tiled window frames in the facade. This is paired with sophisticated neutrals and a vibrant turquoise highlight that creates a modern edge.
