The identity for this student production of 'Pterodactyls' by Nicky Silver uses the Theatre Group colour scheme of black, white and orange. The graphic, stencil style is visually dramatic, and retains the enigma surrounding the dark comedy, that parallels the extinction of the dinosaurs with the demise of humanity. The dinosaur scull image follows through all communications and the silhouette style is reflected by the 3D dinosaur skeleton. The T-Rex was an essential part of the stage set, and was drawn up, laser cut, painted and stabilised in under a week. Alice Kellar, the director, was focussed on saving resources, thus the programme was largely accessed digitally via QR code, with only a few printed copies sold as souvenirs. Promotion was also done via social media.
