Book designed in response to a pre-existing essay about imaginary musical instruments entitled 'Cat Pianos, Sound-Houses and Other Imaginary Musical Instruments'. The book explores an imaginary musical world through hand-drawn illustrations, different papers and hand-painted type.
The cover is made from coloured ‘Black’ rag paper (320g) and the end papers of Fedrigoni’s ‘Sirio Color’ paper in the shade ‘Arancio’ (170g). Most other pages are printed on newsprint, whilst some are printed on tracing paper. The whole book is hand-bound using a Japanese binding technique in orange thread.
